Channel Manager Activation

The following will explain the procedure for activating a Channel Manager for a hotel with a direct contract.

First, it is necessary to check whether the Channel Manager is already integrated with Netstorming:

If the Channel Manager has not yet been integrated, it will be necessary to make arrangements directly with the Channel Manager to have it develop a Netstorming API connection. The business component of this arrangement will be the responsibility of Netstorming's client tour operator. Considering that the Channel Manager's revenue is typically proportional to the number of hotels that are connected for that channel, we suggest approaching the channel manager with a substantial hotel portfolio to connect. Once an agreement has been reached with the channel manager, it will be necessary to share Netstorming's technical contacts with it to ensure the necessary assistance in developing the connection. If the Channel Manager has already been integrated, you will need to contact the Channel Manager to request the opening of the channel for the tour operator. To proceed with opening the channel, the channel manager will need to receive:

  • The endpoints for connection (of the particular urls provided by Netstorming)
  • The credentials
  • The mapping file
