Cancellations

This section allows you to set cancellation policies related to the entire contract validity, or to individual periods. These policies will override the cancellation set in the Allotment tab.

• From / To: dates when the cancellation policy applies

• Cancellations plans: to be used when repeating cancellation plans for different periods, to speed up their loading

• Group: define a possible group of clients to which the cancellation must be applied

• Not refundable:

• Suppliers: enter the hours (H) and/or days (D) within which to cancel. If both are set, they will add up.

• Clients: enter the hours (H) and/or days (D) within which to cancel. A higher time can be defined that serves as a protection for the Tour Operator in case it has closed days. This gives the opportunity to have more time to handle the file. If both are set, they will add up. The hours/days in this field cannot be less than what is set in “Suppliers”.

• Penalty: the value of the penalty.

• Type
  • percentage: the value of the penalty is a percentage of the booking total.
  • currency: the value of the penalty is a definable amount per
    • target (pax or per room)
    • period (nights or total)
    • currency of the penalty to be paid
    • nights: number of nights to pay
