Limitation

In this section it is possible to set limitations that apply to the availability search made by the client.

  • Filters: it allows the Tour Operator to establish the type of product to sell to the customer:
  • STRAIGHTONLY: shows only direct contracts for which visibility on the voucher of the relevant supplier is not set
  • NOXML: used only to sell local contracts and no XML supplier
  • AVAILONLY: returns only hotel contracts with immediate confirmation
  • AVLHEAVY: in the price comparison, the system gives weight to hotel's contracts with immediate confirmation. On request results are shown up only if the price is more convenient
  • BESTPRICE: returns only those contracts with the best price for each hotel
  • BESTCONTRACT: returns only the best price for each room type of the hotel
  • BESTROOMBASIS: returns only the best price for each treatment type (room only, breakfast included, etc.) independently from the room type
  • EXCLUDEDDYNAMIC: the system excludes from the response the dynamic contracts
  • BESTARRANGEMENT: returns the best price for each arrangement room type/hotel's arrangement
  • EXCLUDENONREF: the system removes all the non refundable results
  • Filters (Web Services): it allows the Tour Operator to establish the type of product to sell the customer via web services:
  • REDUCED: the system removes from the output a series of fields related to the hotel's details and agreements which are not mandatory for the correct execution of an availability/booking procedure
  • Check-in available from: it allows the Tour Operator to define when the check-in can start, with a fixed date or within xxx days to pass
  • Check-in available to: it allows the Tour Operator to define until when the check-in can be made, with a fixed date or within xxx days to pass
  • Automapping:
  • Active: if flagged, it activates the function that allows to map the names of the rooms based on similarity between the one received from the supplier and those present in the system's database
  • Score Threshold: it allows you to set how tolerant the matching algorithm must be (0 means that everything is fine, while 100 means that only perfectly equal strings are accepted. It is highly inadvisable to set values lower than 90)
  • Force automapping: if selected, it removes the contracts that could not be mapped. If not selected, even non mapped contracts appears in availability with the original name coming from the supplier
  • Block countries: it refers to the destination. Example: by setting the block country for France, any hotel located in France will not appear
  • Allowed hotel stars: all selected by default, choose which hotel category to possibly exclude
